Teach English In Japan Redux

Here is a collection of my revised pages from Teach English in Japan

Teach English in Japan is a collaborative webcomic by Jeffrey Ellis and Jonathon Dalton. The story is based on Jeff and Jonathon’s experiences teaching English in a foreign country. Jeff taught in the city of Kofu, Japan for two and a half years. Jonathon taught in Myauli and Taoyuan, Taiwan for a year and a half. They work collaboratively on the scripts and Jeff creates the finished art.

Posted on April 1, 2026 by jeff

I’m very excited to announce that I will be relaunching Teach English in Japan and giving this work the ending it deserves. I just completed a new page, and here is the full scene for context. Expect more process updates like I did with Love in the Time of Covid. This will be the exclusive home for that content, so consider becoming a subscriber.
